This is kind of off the subject but oh well. My uncle gave me a small engine and have no clue to what make it is. He said when it was put in the shed it ran but i'm not sure. It kind of looks funny because from just looking at it looks like the crankshaft is way above the oil level and the cylinder is horizontal. The crankshaft is also horizontal. The Carburetor is bolted to a 90 dergree elbow bolted to the block. On the head is a name plate which has a lot of info. First on top it has the name Busy Bee and says its 5 hp and runs at 2600 rpm. The name plate also says its got a 2 3/4 inch bore and 3 inch stroke, and a minimum gas octane of 67. Theres no gas tank on it but says its 2 gallons. The crankcase is 1 qt and a spark plug gap of .025 inch but there's no spark plug in it. If you know the spark plug to it give a hollar. Its also got instructions to start it. First, to start open the needle valve 1 1/4 turns out, which ever one that is! To stop press the grounding strip to the spark plug. Theres also a warning that says to drain the oil every 50 hrs. At the bottom of the name plate is the model number which is model AB with a serial number of 3 - 10what looks to a weak stamped 5 and 05(Model AB 3 - 10 05). Below all that at the bottom it says Gladden Products Corp. Glendale 4 Calif. And yes theres a four in there. I'm not sure where the motor came off from but there's a 3 belt pulley on the drive shaft. Also the shroud that goes around the flywheel is missing and to start it there's a notched pulley bolted to the flywheel to pull with a rope. Any help would be appreciated! Mike

He had over a period of months spent a fair amount of his hard earned cash on replacement parts for the old "trembler" ignition. Sadly though all his efforts seemed to be a waste of time and money as he still couldn''t get the temperamental old thing to run correctly!! If i said that this was a little frustrating for him that would be "conservative" in fact the problem had reduce
