Hi, The chey cruise is a little different. You do need to scan the EMC for codes. It is also good to look at the scan data for the cooling/heating system. Their is 2 temp sensors in the cooling system. One at the rear of the engine in the housing with all the hoses going to it and the other in in the lower radiator hose or the radiator depending on Year. When one of fails it may or may not set a code. All so know that the thermostat is electric. Controlled by the ECM.
