i worked at a place that sold same .i helped the same tech time a buffalo. it is a complex process that involves special adapters for the push rods and 3 metric dial indicators. they had a shop manual that has to be followed to the letter. this buffalo was only a few degrees out of time and was over heating dropping valves and splitting the jugs. you need to find some one that knows how to time that engine otherwise you will ruin the engine
