Good afternoon all, new to this forum, but not to Yesterdays tractors. I recently acquired a 1950's David Bradley 2 wheel walk behind with a sickle mower. Came with a spare engine, which I already had to rob the ignition point plunger out of(the engine in the tractors plunger was swelled up and stuck, had to drill it out) The exhaust valve was stuck, I pulled the valves, ground the seats and lapped the valves. I'm at the point of needing a head gasket, and everywhere I've looked, and the people that I've contacted all gave the same answer "that's an old engine, I don't have a listing, sorry" The engine is a Briggs & Stratton Model 142402 Type 502028. The other item I'm in need of are tires. The 6.70-15's that are on it, needless to say should be replaced. The Sidewalls are missing, and something has been chewing on the tread. I live in New England, in New Hampshire on the VT border. I know most people like to know where your from. Thank you all in advance[img]

Cylinders are the reason for the hydraulic circuit. They take the fluid power delivered from the pump and magically change it into mechanical power. There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
