Was there ever a front-wheel-drive tractor ???

Well, getting back to some "tractor talk", I was watching people slip-sliding all over the roads today (after 5-6 days of snow) and I was wondering if there was ever a front wheel drive tractor? Not a 4WD but a 2WD like a lot of the cars are today, just the front wheels providing power.
