I have a 1951 Farmall c that has a 404 engine in it and a loader that I run off of the original touch control hydraulics. I am wanting to get more hydraulic power and am looking at a few options such as running a hydraulic pump off of a belt which also runs the fan water pump and generator. I wonder if belt drive is adequate for a 12 plus GPM pump , with the configuration of my loader and crank pulley I have few other options. Another idea I had was get the factory hydraulic pump for the 404 with power steering which is supposed to have a 9 GPM rating is that enough for a loader it seems it would be an upgrade from the original c pump I am using now. On this site there is also a left hand rotation pump that would fasten to the front of the crank but I don't know how to connect it. Any HELP on this situation would be appreciated. Thank You Steve
