Check and make sure you fluids are up to correct levels. Most likely you will need to clean points and check fore spark. Crack open fuel line at fuel pump to see if you are getting fuel from tank to pump. If fuel pump is in working condition it could take about 30 cranks to get fuel up to carb. Yes I would pull start it for first start up after 5 years.
