This particular bomb weighs a little over 500 pounds and has .3" thick walls or about a third of an inch thick. The charge weighs 250 pounds. It is designed to penetrate railroad bridge cement abutments or anything else that is thick. It will fall through three stories of a building before it detonates so no wonder it can bury itself deep if it does not explode.
