You can fit a three point hitch onto an Allis, for a couple of hundred dollars. There is no fitting live hydraulics onto an 8N without lots of work and fabrication.

Powerwise, the Allis slightly edges out the N.

Fwiw, we've got both an 8N and a B, each in comparable rough shape. The B starts and runs reliably. The 8N starts when it feels like it, and has never gone a full day without breaking down at least once.

As much as I'd like to prefer the 8N, I find the B to be a superior tractor.
