Me too. Started with bar-lugs and didn't get it. These babies do the trick, not only in traction capabilities, but with a soft sidewall and 5 psig air pressure....ride is sweet.
A pair of these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2PK-22x11-8-22-11-8-22x11-00-8-Golf-Go-Kart-ATV-Tire-4PLY-P322-Dimple-Knobby/361564940236? ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
Mounted on a pair of these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Martin-Wheel-4-Hole-Steel-Golf-Wheel-8x7-4x4/153483343488? epid=1948776872&hash=item23bc51f680:g:h0QAAOSwvX5c4Zu-
I replaced the OEM wheels because they were 12" and the volume of air in the tire was minimal. By going down to the 8" wheel and using the soft sidewall tire posted, at 5 psig, rated pressure, the ride is like floating on a cloud.
However, when mowing horizontally on pond banks of ⅓ slope, I pump the air up to 10 psig for stiffer sidewall since my mower weighs about 1k# plus my weight....but the ride is still great. If soft ride isn't a necessity, just buy your snow studs to fit your current wheel.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
