Many years ago when I was a young kid, I had a friend down the road from where I lived and his folks rented a small farm, they didn't work the farm just rented the house, anyways, my friend and I explored the small barn on the place and tucked away in it was a John Deere LA. I didn't know nothing about Deere's at the time, but I thought that tractor was just the right size for me, the farmall A we had was just a little bigger, but man I sure wanted that little Deere. I never seen that tractor used and have often wondered what ever became of it. After I got out of the service I came home to find the place had been torn down.
