I use the block poison that you nail down to a board or whatever. This will kill mice, and rats, and they have to eat it becuase they can't drag it back to the nest. A good mouse killing cat would help a bunch, but it has been my experience that only a small percentage of cats turn out to be good mousers. I personally don't like having numerous cats around. I don't know if you have any pets around, but I have heard that mice like to drink antifreeze, and antifreeze pretty much kills anything that drinks it. In addition to trying to get rid of them, look around and see if anything in particular might be drawing them. Anything exposed like grain, pet food, any type of feed or seed, will create an extra mouse attraction. For small amounts of that type stuff, trash cans work nice to store it in. That's alot better than having it exposed to mice. Also, keep the battle going and don't forget about it when the little rodents are gone. Ounce they are gone, you need to keep it going for the ones that are just getting there. Sometimes it seems like there is a never ending train of them that just keeps on coming. Good luck to ya.
