The last couple mornings we have seen a dark spot 2 or 3 feet in diameter floating across a pond located behind our property. Actually this morning there were two dark spots 6 - 8 feet apart. There may very well be some small movements within the dark spot. We do not own the pond. Our house sits up fairly high and overlooks the pond. The dark spot slowly moves eventually out of sight primarily due to tree blocking the view. Even if we were to go to our property line the dark spot would still be 100 feet away and we would have lost a great deal of elevation. Binoculars help some, but not enough. At night we hear many bull frogs. Could this be a mass of tadpoles? I know there is not only a wealth of tractor/farming knowledge here, but also knowledge about the great outdoors. Any ideas???? Thanks.
