Thanks Guys!! When I broke my foot I went to the VA Hospital to get it fixed and their was sure a lot of fellow Vets there! When you see them with limbs missing, tubes coming out of a lot of different places it will sober you up fast! One guy had to use a fork to hold his Cigarette with and I remember him well he could not even put it on the fork and asked me to do it so he could have a smoke. These Vets go down to the smoking area and just sit there in wheel chairs, rolling beds and talk and smoke! That's all they have to do! I had to go 3 different times for 2-days at a time and the same guys were allways their. They are proud but it is sad!! If you ever have some time go down to the VA Hospital in your area bring some extra cigs with you and listen to there stories they love to tell and have a chat with them at the same time they would love it. They don't ask for much, but they GAVE so much and get so little for what they did! Just tell them your proud of what they did and you will see them perk up! I was lucky I came back whole quite a few did not and I bet they would love to be out riding on a tractor enjoying the Sunshine instead of being there. When I have hard times I just think of the Vets at the VA Hospital and my problems arn't so big any more! Thanks Again! Mark H.
