Haven't had much experience with the 460D but I've heard they can be a booger to start in the winter. The 730's not to much better but will start with a good manifold heater and battery. As far as plowing the case will out weigh the IH and probably have more torque. The old 730's weren't real powerhouses but they got the job done. Are you looking at a row crop 730 or a comfort king. The ck has 3pt hitch and draft control which helps when plowing if you have a mounted plow. I have a 61' 830 row crop that I pull 3-16 trailor plows with a busterbar 9" deep in fourth gear.
