Terry: Yes it would go inline to the 6 volt flasher. How much resistance depends on how much current is being used. Know that? Probably not so then use the trial and error method. Use too big of a resistor and reduce untill flasher works. You have to drop 2 volts from the 8+ volts. Ya may try another hi wattage(lo-resistance) 6 volt bulb in place of the resistor. I'll GUESS a couple ohms @ 10 watt resistor? Maybe get a pack @ Radio Shack? With several you can add or parrellel two or more untill it is about right..hopefully. Knowing current used would eliminate guessing. ralph
