I own two 720 Deisels and would not part with them. There is no crankcase ventilation pump on a deisel. When I got my first one, it would slobber oil out the exhaust. The problem turned out to be a broken oil control ring in the right cylinder. Worn out injectors are also a possibility I think. I agree with G Taylor that having the manuals is an absolute necessity for running and repairing the 720D. These may be older, but they are not really simple. The books will save hours of wasted time and effort. Good luck and I hope you enjoy your 720 as much as I enjoy mine.
