Hi All,
I am looking for advice on how to transport trailer type trip plows, specifically IH Little Genius if it makes any difference.
The first question, how does one get them on and off a trailer? Specifically a gooseneck? The only time I had any on a trailer a bucket tractor was needed to get them on and off. They seem to bottom out where the ramp starts dipping down even in the highest position, in addition to not wanting to back up, which leads to the second question.
The second question, is there a way to back up with the plow attached to the tractor without the rear wheel jamming? I haven't been to one myself, but I know plow days are held in some areas and most participants bring their own plows with their tractor, so I would imagine there is a way or at least a method to getting it to reverse off a trailer?
Still a bit new to using these types of plows so if anyone has any additional advice or places to find more general information on the plows and their use feel free to add that as well.
