The last time I cut a tree down (after doing it for nine years) I slipped and the tree jumped on the stump stuck in the ground about a foot from my body then fell, lucky it was away from me!! I sold my chain saw and decided to let other people take that chance. It was a dead tree and the wood was hollow in a spot and crushed when I cut it. Now I pay 75.00 for a cord of wood deliverd to me split! One hospital bill would buy a lot of wood!! So would having the tree fall where it should not. Also if your are not sure it dose not pay to find out. Mark H.
