would i be able to close in the walls of a 3 acre gravel pit with a skidsteer if i bought the 6-way front dozer blade and metal tracks that go over the tires?the pit walls are about 20 feet tall.have 3 to 5 years to accomplish the task.weary of second-hand dozer purchase.magnatrac not big enough and too pricey.i would have to rent a dozer for a month if i went the rental way, that's wasting money.i could really use a front loader around my place anyway.i see now you can buy low-price backhoe attachments that mount on the front loader for about $1000.00 also can buy pallet forks to offload tractor-trailers or just to use as a homemade manlift around the farm.could use same 6 way blade for plowing my long dirt driveway in the winter.can get enclosed cab model too....used....i can't afford new like many people.skidsteers are all hydraulic,no clutches or transmissions to worry about and the little woman might even be able to drive it clearing snow off driveway if i'm not home?i would buy a 4 wheel drive tractor and a bulldozer, both new and of quality,if i was rich.i think a skidsteer might just be what i need.??what horsepower size/weight skidsteer would i need to use it effectively for dozer work?northern hydraulics offers used bobcat brand skidsteers up to 73HP.free shipping and i wouldn't have to pay any sales tax.not sure if the model 873 loader(vertical lift path)is built more rugged than the model 863 arc-path loader for dozing purposes??comments/suggestions please....
