I appreciate it. I have cut lots of fire wood over the last 25 years, oak & hickory mostly, but have never cut anything as big as these pines. A couple of them are near 3 ft. at the base. I've had enough close calls in the past to know not to get over confident, and I'm not too proud to take advice from those who know. The local professional just returned my call- he's coming Monday to look at the job. Thanks again, and thanks for accommodating my off-subject post. Now, let me tell you about my MF135...
