Got my combine out to get ready for oats.
First indicator that this was going to be a bad weekend came after I ran it a bit. Found this behind.
Me and rodents do NOT get along! Lol.
These combine really do a nice job getting a clean sample, but changing the heads is a pain. They are not quick tach, but you also have to change a bunch of the front panels and such. Not an easy job.
But the big issue came when I looked in the back at the sieves. This is not good.
I was lucky that my salvage yard has both sieves for this machine, altho they are the small grain type and not great for corn.
Going to need some fabrication at the front of the shoe as the part that hold that sieve is gone, which is why it got destroyed.
