Well, the one photo is the tip of the iceberg, those open pit mines are pretty common up there. Googling "Fort Mac Tar Sands Mining Images" will get some scary stuff. As far as those on-line posters go that a guy sees, a person who is creating them could include photos from anywhere in the world to back up his argument. That little processing plant might be in Siberia and the open pit mining operation in China .... I guess that's always an issue when a guy sees visual "evidence", or reads information even without photos.
