OK, Seems the Mountaineer turf and snow tractor from Giere Company "http://www.gierecompany.com/" is very new. It is a 4x4 Garden tractor with all the neat attachments that a heavy duty Garden tractor can use. It has 4 wheel steering and hydrostatic. The main jobs on my property is cutting grass, blowing snow, and average garden work. The heavy loader jobs, I use my tired MHF-202. But this larger tractor is useless in the snow, and downright dangerous near the house. Does anyone have the Moutaineer from Giere? Anyone want to share any comments. This seems like a common sense to me. Buy a less expensive GT for the small jobs, and beat on my heavier tractor for more challenging jobs, instead of getting a compact tractor that does both jobs poorly with greater hassle and cost.
