In NY, the self-checkouts are blooming because nobody in their right mind who expects to stay in business very long (especially in a high tax state like NY) is going to pay $15 per hour for cashiers, AND it is next to impossible to find anybody to work who is any good for anything. Every business owner I talk to tells the same story. Reliable help is virtually impossible to find. Anybody who is any good for anything is already working. (and those are few and far between) My granddaughter just started working at the local hospital as her first job. They are so desperate for decent help they are just about bowing at her feet because she is willing to work and show up on time. The biggest topic among farmers at the fair this year was "Hey you figured out how to pay $15 per hour and stay in business"?? To a man: "Nope. How about you"???? "Me neither. Thinking maybe it's time to sell out. I've spent the last year jumbling figures every way I can think of and it just doesn't pencil out. Hey you don't know where I could find a 70 cow barn close enough to a BTO to buy TMR from, do you"? "Nope. If I did, I'd sell out and buy it myself".

From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
