8N's are popular because they have 3-point hitches so you can get implements to fit fairly easily. They are more of a utility tractor and not that well suited to row crops. If your growing organically, you'll want to cultivate and the 8N doesn't have the crop clearance. Farmalls, John Deeres and Allis Chalmers were better row crop tractors than the Fords and Fergusons. The problem is that they have proprietory hitches, so you need to be sure that you can get the implements you need before you buy the tractor. Allis-Chalmers had some particularly nice cultivator set-ups.
