I bought a $2000 8x16 tandem axle trailer to pull behind a 98 Chev 3/4 ton. I use this trailer to haul my Farmall H, probably no more than 3 or 4 times a year. I would not even think about pulling this without brakes on all four wheels. The tractor probably weighs in about 4000 lbs and the trailer is 1500 - 1800 pounds, for a total of just under 6000 lbs. Its enough to make you glad you have the brakes if it happens to be a little bit wet out. FM.
