Well, I am back finally. After rechecking everthing a getting the points to about the gap of a match book cover, it ran and it ran like a champ. Went out and swapped out bushhogs and cut for about three hours. Brought it back up the shop and parked it for the night. Just before heading back into the house, I wanted to hear it one more time. Click, Click, Click was all I got. The clicking was coming from the solenoid. It had a 4 post solenoid on it but the book called for a 3 post solenoid. So I put one of those on. Now I have nothing, no click or anythng. Going to try and jump across the solenoid tonight when I get home. But if any one has any ideas I would be happy to hear them. The battery has 13.5 volts so I know it is not that. The tractor had a 12 volt conversion kit put on it before I got it. Thanks in advance for all your help. By the way, everything is new from the plugs to the resistor.
