A good site to check out is AgBrazil.com There is alot of info. about land, costs, crop yields etc. Its put out by a man that is well aquainted with the ins and outs of Brazil. One thing I will say If you decide to go down there to farm, don't go underfunded for what you want to do. I bought my farm from a German absentee owner. he left too much up to his manager who ran the place broke. Cash really talks here, 40%-50% discounts on ground are not uncommon, and everything is negotiable. Like everything else, and do your research, get your paperwork in order(very important) and good luck.
