: I fell in love with those JD two cylinders, but know little about them. What models are they, and what could I expect to pay for a decent one as a hobby, I have no farm land. Scott, What kind of Deere's you been look'in at? As you can see we have some die-hard tractor lovers out here. Most of these guys here said " I do " not to thier wives, but to the loan officers when they all took notes on there tractors! As for me I like to be on all sides of the tracks; I have 2 Deere's, 2 IH's, and one 8N Ford. The sound of the two lunger Deere's are most breath taking, however. And they sure are sharp when they're restored. But any pre 1960's tractor is quite a conversation piece. Back in August I went to a tractor show and saw a Ford model 600 with a loader and a hoe that was like it came off the showroom floor! What a fine piece of work. Of coarse your project tractor would take a lot of time, but you know it's something you like to do. Don't let these cyber bullys bother you( they're only having fun too) and GO OUT AND GET YOUR DEERE! Chris
