yes never said they were not around said to me they are light years from being the norm, the normal thing on the road,, maybe in city's they will be the ticket,, but I do not feel they have the tech all sorted out yet, things like road construction, flooding, snow and ice and a road that gives way ect will all be things the auto drive cannot deal with at least not with out some major hiccups, no matter how much you pay,, heck they send spacecraft to other planets one would think they could do the same here easy,, but there are a lot of human caused extra factors here thrown in the mix,, like the movie Total Recall with Arnold in it and the self driving taxi. sure its coming but it will not be without its own set of troubles, I would not mind a automated flying car for trips,, the ground is mine to drive lol
