I am planning to add one to my front end loader. When I have the pallet forks attached I cannot see the pallet or the forks up front. The first problem is that it is a reversed image looking forward--- I figured if I had a small mirror for the camera to look at at right angles it would turn the image around. But even being reversed is better than not being able to see any thing with out repeatedly getting on and off. As for the problem of the sun washing out the image I was thinking of one of those head sets they use for virtual reality-- they make them that you can put your Iphone in them and have it 2 inches from your face and still see the image.
