What a great song, and Petula Clark did a great job on it. The original release in early 1960 was by an Austrian girl who went by the name of Lolita. Her real name was Edith Einzinger and she died in 2010 at 79 years of age. All of this compliments of Google searching of course but I did remember her Lolita name from before. Here's her version which was a big hit on this side of the pond as well ....
