He was a quiet slower older gentleman, well actually his dad came around and painted for my dad. As we were told, anyhow. Often times his helper (did all the work) would get done and be sitting on the place for an hour or so. I was sure to stay and chat, never had any troubles along those lines. The helper typically had an interesting life, and stories. They were fun to hear for a northern guy like me.
He hasn’t been around for a couple years, he missed one year when his wife was ill, then he slowed down it seemed and I’m sure he’s retired now?
Quite the talker, but not real pushy he knew when to stop. Had to wait for his third offer tho, every time.
