My father was a municipal councillor, and was also
on the school board for a time. Being involved
seems to run in our family, my Great Great
Grandfather was the first deputy Reeve of the now
defunct Township of Reach, and later served two
terms as the Reeve of the Township of Reach. This
was back around 1870’s
