They have a very nice grounds and out on a good diverse show. Dave Preuhs has an extensive H-P collection and with Oliver being the feature it makes sense. I’m working 15 miles from the grounds and stole some time to check it out last night. I was hoping to see some familiar faces, but I fear I was too late. I shoulda taken a picture of the separator line up. They have a collection of about a dozen different makes and models at their disposal. There is a heap of neat earth moving equipment in the sand box. Many more steam engines than I recall. Traction, portable, and stationary. A large sampling of horse equipment and displays and many tractors and engines are brought in. Heck Those Folie boys from Wisco musta had 11 tractors there already with a few nests marked for more.
I don’t mind tooting Pioneer Power’s horn. It’s a class act and I’ve met several good folk from there. I’m just too derned busy getting ready for Junkshow too make it there.
Come spring they have about the biggest swap in the Midwest.

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet). I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
