Hi Ron Its sounds to me that you should be getting ready to spend alot of money on this engine because to much starting fliud will lock up the engine to lock up causing the pistons to fly apart and you could also break the crankshaft in two i have seen engines run in this condition do your batterys hold up to run a whole can? also leave the throddle turn as low as possible when it starts let it runs there awhile till it warms up. what model and brand tractor is it? I have a B-414 that i have to use starting fluid to start it i have the engine turning over than count to one with the fluid going in the air cleaner than it starts after that it starts just fine. be READY TO SPEND ALOT OF MONEY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
