Two things: I had a close friend get killed using a little bobcat skid-steer loader once. He had removed the safety cage so he could get in and out easier (or for some other stupid reason). He was leaning out of the cab, using the bucket, and somehow got his head caught between the bucket arm and the body of the loader. I'll never forget it. When I got there, the engine was still running, it was the worst thing I've ever seen. A personal close call: I was driving our Farmall M from my cousin's house to home, with him following behind in his pickup. I slowed down to look at some deer and he wasn't paying attention and ran right in to me. I got thrown back on the hood of the truck and the M stalled. We weren't going very fast, thank god, and only broke my arm. Dad sure was pissed.
