Hard to answer that w/o more info but if this depends on having people around that the family barely knows then I see problems ahead. Doing it himself I can appreciate your concern but we need to allow people to be happy as long as no harm comes to others. A family member on my mother's side of the family died on a tractor seat doing what he loved. Didn't hurt anybody else and that was the most important thing.
