Thank you for your reply ..id love to reply to them all.
Hello cjskyy--As I mentioned, I just like looking at photos of old tractors, so if you can take any, please send. I think my email is set up to receive emails from other members, but I haven't used that option too much. For the comments of other members, I can't say what motivates them since I don't really know. Yes, a lot of members are cranky and looking for a fight, but I think the one thing everyone values the most is someone who speaks their mind. You sound like such a person. You'd likely be a welcome member here even if you have nothing to do with tractors.
For your dad, it may be that he's afraid the old machines will be sold for scrap--so he may be open to the idea of someone taking them who will spend some time trying to get them running again--if possible. Maybe ask around locally and see if anyone has any interest.
If you do send pics, I can't say I'm very knowledgeable about old tractors, but I am good at navigating the different websites that deal with them and can probably give an idea of whether they are worth saving or not. Sounds like you have a lot on your plate, good luck with everything and try not to stress too much about the old iron.
Upload one or more videos to your post. Photo and video filesizes should be less than 8MB. Formats allowed are gif, jpg, png, ogg, mp4, mov, and avi. Be sure to use filenames without spaces or special characters, and filetypes of 3 digits lower case.

Unless you are from another planet, physically or otherwise, I don’t think our internal combustion buddies will talk and tell us their problems. But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo.
