I text, call,and email several folks from this site. Many times I will ask a " dumb" question and one or more of them will contact me directly instead of putting an answer on here. Too many rude responses at times on here. Still my favorite go-to place for information. Some folks just seem happier if they are miserable or making others miserable...just human nature to drag others to your level.. ....... momma always said " if you can't say something nice ,don't say anything". Still good advice, even if it's our right to be rude! I refuse to let a couple grumpy old farts ruin a great forum.

Today's Featured Article - 12-Volt Conversions for 4-Cylinder Ford 2000 & 4000 Tractors - by Tommy Duvall. After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion. After some research of convert or not, I decided to go ahead, the main reason being that this tractor was a working tractor, not a show tractor (yet).
