Have a good friend that did custom haying. All John Deere equipment, and used one of those huge stacker affairs that the hay is blown into, as its pulled around the field. He had an old IH scout he would run between fields with, and once in awhile would load it into the stacker, in order to have transportation between fields to move equipment. He had just pulled into a new field when his wife showed up with the car, family emergency, and didn't make it back to the field for two days. His wife dropped him off, jumped on the Deere and started down the windrow, blowing the hay in the back. About 200 ft. down the field, got to thinking, "where did I leave the Scout?", Right!. He opened the back door, and unloaded the stack with the scout in it! That John Deere equpment had tried to eat the IHC! Wasn't so bad, time lost picking up all the hay, cleaning hay out of the scout, except for the next few weeks, whenever he drove it, more hay came out of nooks and crannies and went down his shirt! We still laugh about this one. John in Ne.
