I’ve just spent much of the last 2-1/2 days trying to sort out the mess to arrange to get our mom’s car fixed after a Mrs driving her hubby’s big Ford pickumup with the big hitch hung out back punched a hole in Mom’s rear bumper while backing up in a parking lot. Drove off, said she didn’t know she hit anything but got ratted out by the staff in the Dr’s office who saw what happened. Yep, they’re going to feel the fun of an insurance claim and with enough of those you’ll get the companies lobbying for the laws that are so hated. Mom happens to drive by their place a lot, she even found a pic on Google Street View with the bigum hitch clearly visible. She happened to go past today...hitch gone. Imagine that.
