A whole book could, and possibly, should be written about the differences and advantages of each. In my personal opinion the To Ferguson with the Continental engine was far superior to the Ford engine, but lacked the operator convenience of the 8 N but was equally as good and similar the 9 N and 2 N. The TE ferguson, European having the Lucas starter a poor started and was not interchamble with the Delco Remy of the TO. In summary. in my opinion the TO was superior to the 2 n and 9 n but was not as good as the later 8 N in spite of the better Continental engine. The To had the almost same poor brake pedal location and the poor steering gear of the 2 N and 9 N
