If you are good with a torch you gan get real small brazing rod. Then take the tank off, dump out the gas,run a water hose in it and rinse it out.Get some kind of hose like a piece of flex hose or sprayer hose that is big enough to go over the tailpipe on your pickup, put the other end in the gas tank. After the tank is full of exhaust you can weld it with a torch. You have to keep the hose in the tank and the engine running on the pickup while you weld.I dont think I would lean over it while I was torching the brazing rod on it either. You dont want to burn a hole in it either because it could get air in it and explode. You have to be carefull, but I did it before and it wasnt too bad.Just have it clean and use the right flux and let the exhaust run in it for a while to make sure there is no air in it before you start.
