For those that don't know, the Mackinac (pronounced Mack-in-aw) Bridge is a big icon here in Michigan. Most Michiganders simply know it as "the Bridge". It still holds several records in construction. Between the anchorages, it is longer than the Golden Gate. You are actually over water for 5 miles while on the bridge, with 1000 foot ships sailing underneath while you stare down thru the deck grating on the center two lanes. That......and being surrounded by hundreds of tractors. It's a great event. Did it last year on my F-20 !

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
