It sounds like they are creating a new category of ag vehicle to meet the needs of those farms willing to pay for new equipment with 40MPH capabilities, rather than simply upgrading the ratings all existing ag equipment.

Unless the towed implement is also rated for 40MPH, a 40MPH tractor still be limited to the towed implements 25MPH capabilities (25MPH ag tires, no brakes, no registration or licence, etc.)? Fully loaded grain carts, manure tankers and combines will require some serious upgrades to be safe at 40MPH, but it might be well worth it for some of the larger spread out farms of the near future.
