When life is dealing lemons, make some lemon-aid. I bring more home than I drop off. 75% of the time I have a 20' trailer sitting at the scrap yard where they load good structural material when they have time. He call's when it's near loaded and I pick the trailer up. They know T.W. of the trailer and my truck so all I do is pull onto scale, pay the man and go. When I drop the trailer off it might have some scrap, drops, aluminum, copper and cast on it. They get the small amount of aluminum, copper and cast for steel price. I often leave a stryafoam box with ice, water, juice and cokes. A while back he called to say they had more pipe than my trailer could haul with what was already on it. I told him to finish loading the trailer and set 100 additional joints aside. I took a fence builder's trailer to pick the 100 joints up,paid him $600,returned fence builder's trailer to his shop and picked up a $2k check. I cleared $1,400,fence man saved $900,some time and scrapyard owner was happy with not needing to handle it any more than he did.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
