I have a JD 4200 compact tractor similar size to yours. All you have to do to prevent it screwing into the ground is adjust the rate of drop on the 3pt hitch. Mine is a knob in front of the seat. You can lock it up drop it fast or just a little at a time and it wont pull the 3pt into the ground. Been there don that a few times we have clay and rocks that you can't pull out with 100hp tractor.
