Sad news for sure. Years ago he played at a local concert. Guy I knew picked him up at the hotel. As they approached the concert there was someone selling ticket along the road. He told the driver to pull over. The seller told Eddie who was playing at the concert including Eddie's name. He did not know he was talking to Eddie. Eddie told him that he would not buy any tickets, as it was not worth seeing the named singers.
